My children attend Taylorsville Elementary School.Today my 8 year old came home from School complained of her stomach hurting.

She is pale, and is also dizzy.I thought maybe she was getting sick.Until she informed me that she only had a few sips of water from the water fountain at School to drink.

When I asked her why she didn't drink her milk at lunch she said...If you forget to grab your milk or even a spoon you do without!

Seriously?

These are children!

Yes I admit they have to be responsible.

But we all forget something from time to time.We are human we make mistakes. But to not let a child go back up and grab a milk when it's really hot is ridiculous!

Needless to say she is now dehydrated!

Anyone else have a child that attends Taylorsville Elementary have any issues like this?

I am so sick of parents believing everything their child says. Kids exaggerate. There is no way your daughter was denied a milk in the lunch line. Don't buy it for a second. Keep believing every word your kid says and immediately jump on every other adult's ass and you will have your hands full when she is a teen.

She did not say she was denied a milk in the line.. She said "If you forget to grab your milk or even a spoon you do without!" Which I took as she forgot to grab one was already seated and was denied the opportunity to go back up and grab one!..

I have a child that attends school there also. I know for a fact that they can go back and get anything they forgot. So your child seems to have a lying problem. I hope you get her corrected soon, because if not, you're going to have a teenage mother on your hands in a few years.

Really?!? how are you going to call her 8 year old child a liar? I mean if you weren't there how the hell would you know what happened? And to say her child will be a teen mother, because you assume she is lying about not getting milk, are you kidding me?!? I sure hope you don't have children that you are passing that crazy on to!

My kids and I have a niece and 2 nephews that go to Taylorsville, I have helped with cafeteria duty before if they don't send the child up to get it, on of the adults on duty will go get them anything they have forgotten

My children went there. This is the best elementary school! I came to pick up my daughter after school one day, my daughter had trouble opening her milk (she was 5), the janitor helped. Talk to these people if there is a problem--they all seem to be pretty good people. P.S. I had a lot of issues with my other older daughter, still happy with them, not so happy with my older daughter.

I totally disagree what this parent is saying...maybe her child has misunderstood what she can an cannot do....
to start, your child would not be dehydrated that quick due to no milk an a brief drink from the fountain...

I have 3 kids in that school and I know that this is not true...a teacher will even go and help out if something was forgotten..
im not saying the child is lying. what im saying is she must not feel like she could ask or something...maybe a quiet child and shy maybe...

before posting rudeness like this maybe try contacting the principal. ..she is truely a nice and helpful person...I know she would be more than happy to make sure things were taken care of....
I have had trouble before and if I called about something it was taken care of quickly and respectfully...

my kids went from shy ..quiet ...timid to more outgoing an confident thanks to the help of all the staff..

so like I said...next time just pick up the phone and make a phone call....or email them.. just a thought
