Probable Cause Affidavit for the good "Pastor" who is protected by Church - who's paying his bills while in Rehab?

The most outrageous part of this is that the "pastor" asked the 16 year old kid to "steal" certain items from his house to pay him for the $1,000 he owes him for heroin, then the kid gets caught with the goods and the "pastor" denies he put the kid up to it. The "pastor" says the kid must have stolen from him and his family to pay for the kid's own drug debt. Hanging a 16 year old kid out to dry?! And all the congregation at FCC can do is pray for Justin and cheer him on? What about praying for him to stop lying about his own crimes and stop playing victim? What about praying for the kid after being "preyed" upon by the "pastor?" How about cheering him on not to be sitting in jail for the pastor's lies?

Dear Justin White,

I will go ahead and be the bad guy...since it would appear no one else wants to address a few things.

Addiction is real... but guess what? So is stealing and so is lying. Regardless of how you justify it or downplay it, you lied to the police officers/detectives involved in your "home burglary" investigation. And to this day, you are still lying about it. Do you expect me to believe that the fine men and woman of the Columbus Police Department and the men and woman at the Bartholomew County Prosecutors Office decided, for no just reason at all, to arrest/charge you with the felonies you were charged with? No. They did so because you broke the law and there was a substantial amount of evidence to lead them to that decision.

By your own admission, you have struggled with "addiction" for the last couple of years...during which time you selfishly chose to stay pastor of First Christian Church (Matthew 18: 6-9). I understand you had a few periods during your addiction in which you left and tried to get help, but still, you chose to remain in the position of leadership...a position of trust...a position of respect. Only once were you arrested and the community was made aware of your shameful actions, did you choose to address your wrongdoings. In my option, that was a cowardly move! A real man, a real husband, a real father, a real PASTOR, would have not waited until he was caught. Again, justify it however you see fit, that's fine, but correct me if I am wrong.

At the end of the day, Justin, you made a fool out of every single member at FCC and of the officers at CPD. Have you returned the TV the officers bought you? Have you returned the countless bags of coins the church members gave you...for your DAUGHTER?

I am sorry...but I have lost ALL respect for you and for every single staff member at FCC. You and they, should have never let this happen and get to the point it has gotten.

I truly wish you the best. I wish you get the help you need and I hope you work on the things you need to work on. It's possible, but it starts with you and it starts with truly, 100% being honest. Best of wishes.

I will say what is just hinted at. The elders knew about this and his drug problem yet took help from the community. The elders need to be replaced as well as the good "pastor".
